Rupture by french post rockers Lost in Kiev is an epic and emotive soundtrack for “the breaking point between modern civilization and natural life”. Sparkling guitars dance with buzzing synth leads driven by rolling bass-lines that vibrate through the bone marrow. Plumes of intense atmospheric distortions attempt to escape the battering of explosive drums, only to slowly fall back down in layers of existential dread, surrendering to the bands compositional prowess.
